Kristin is a first-time children's author. A Lansing, Michigan native, her previous work includes founding a trade organization for women, writing a sports column featured in a women's magazine, as well as hosting multiple podcasts. She is a saleswoman by trade, in addition to being a wife and mother. Kristin's inspiration for FEARLESS was to teach her daughter to live life without being overcome by the fears we feel every day.
Christina Petroff, Illustrator
Christina is an emerging artist from Michigan. Christina double majored in Fine Arts, and Psychology; and holds a B.A. in Arts and Sciences from Eastern Michigan University. While at EMU she composed a thesis on color theory earning her departmental honors in Fine Arts. Christina then took that love of Art, and Psychology; and is now is obtaining her M.E.d in Art Therapy at Wayne State University. From a younger age she used art as a coping mechanism; and seeks to create stimulating art to empower positive messages within her readers as it did for her growing up. Her goals with Fearless are to create art that appeals to increasing self esteem, self image, strength, confidence, and having fun!
